Wordburglar – Channel Halifax | Video

Wordburglar pays tribute to his hometown with a video filmed over four seasons at various locations for the track Channel Halifax.

You’ll find him in Toronto these days but his heart will always be in Halifax, Nova Scotia. From his most recent album ‘Rapplicable Skills’ (read my review here) comes the laid back and catchy as hell track ‘Channel Halifax’.

Literally filmed over four seasons Wordburglar filmed the video at various locations at different times of the year to catch the differing aspect of “Hal Town”. The rapper was raised in Halifax and pays tribute to some of the quirks and charm of his hometown.

Head over to bandcamp to purchase a download or physical copy of ‘Rapplicable Skills’ and check out the video below.

About Wordburglar | A strong contender for the rapper most likely to be quoted at the water cooler, Wordburglar’s lyrically potent oeuvre runs the gamut from thoughtfully casual to ridiculously ludicrous. There’s just something about the way he puts words together that keeps people nodding their heads and smiling their mouths. With finely constructed whimsical lyrics, a sharp sense of humour and a dedication to true-school rap, ‘Burg has carved a niche for himself with audiences across Canada and beyond.
