X-Men: Apocalypse Has A New Trailer

The world is in peril as Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant, rises with a plan to cleanse the world of humanity.

Bryan Singer continues to lead the X-Men movie franchise with the latest installment, X-Men: Apocalypse.

The first of his kind, Apocalypse arises after thousands of years. Having amassed great power, assimilated from other mutants, Apocalypse has become immortal and invincible. Disillusioned with what he finds this great threat enlists four of the most accomplished mutants to cleanse the world of humanity.

X-Men: Days of Future Past took a great step to finally establishing a mark of quality for a franchise which has faltered over the years. It looks like this latest addition could continue to grow the X-Men series as a cinematic event in the same way as Marvel Studios movies have become.

X-Men: Apocalypse lands in U.K. cinemas on the 19th of May with a U.S. release later on the 27th of May. For other regions check IMDB.

Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.
