A young Han Solo must complete a difficult trade in order to free his friend and co-pilot, Chewbacca.
There are many Star Wars fan films and once in a while, one will turn up which will make you sit up and take notice.
Han Solo: A Smuggler’s Trade follows a pre-A New Hope Han Solo as he must complete a trade in order to rescue his friend, Chewbacca.
Successfully crowdfunded via Indiegogo, this short film really does have some impressive merits. Jamie Costa as Han, in my opinion, really pulls off the part in both mannerisms and looks.
Gyorsho is played by Doug Jones, whilst the name may not sound familiar, you’ve probably seen him several times on the big screen. He’s more used to appearing under a lot of prosthetics and costumes as his many screen roles include Abe Sapien, Chamberlain and the Angel of Death from the Hellboy series and more recently, The Ancient from the television series The Strain.
The sets, costumes and music all feel like authentic Star Wars, it’s a great short film.
